VG Auto Paints & Tools has been trading for over 25 years.

Vince Gatt a tradesman panel beater started a Panel Beating & Spray Painting Shop in 1981 Close to 1983 he decided to move from panel beating and spray painting to more of a supplier role to the industry.

With several delivery vehicles and sales reps VG Auto Paints started supplying most of Sydneys panel shops with paint, panel and workshop equipment. Also converting the panel shop to a retail outlet it soon became clear that people wanted paint and panel products for their own work at home.

To this day VG Auto Paints is well known in the industry and is still supplying most of Sydneys panel shops
and any industry that uses paint with their paint and panel products.

Vince has a long-standing relationship with the owner of Concept Paints and was one of the first companies to stock the Australian made automotive paint. Concept Paints is now known for revolutionizing the auto paint industry with their No Mix paint (paint hat does not need mixing or stirring) and their No Mix LV (a low VOC paint that is environmentally friendly) many employees at VG Auto Paints have been a part of this journey and are still working at the shop.

In the last 25 years Vince has taken interest in many things that have given VG Auto Paints a huge name in the industry, such as restoring show cars, racing HQ Holden, racing in the Saloon car series and sponsoring up coming talented race drivers.

Vince has currently taken a few steps back in the running the company to become more involved in his passion of clay target shooting and has been the president of Cecil Park Clay Target Club for years now. He still visits the shop every day to check up on us.

Vince's son David Gatt has been heavily involved in the business for the last 8 years now and currently does advertising, web design, tech support and general management tasks that keep VG Auto Paints running smoothly.
